Passprt Trips Secures $500K Pre-Seed Funding to Expand AI-Powered Travel Platform

Travel-tech startup Passprt Trips has raised $500,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Aroa Venture Partners, aiming to revolutionize how travelers discover, plan, and book their holidays.

Founded in 2023 by Ujjwal Garg and Manoj Rai, Passprt Trips offers a personal travel advisor platform that provides real-time assistance throughout the entire travel journey—from inspiration to bookings and on-trip support. The startup is developing a vertical AI stack powered by community-contributed data and a deeply integrated supply network to deliver hyper-personalized and flexible travel experiences.

The freshly raised capital will be used to strengthen its product capabilities, expand its traveler community, and scale operations to 20 destinations across the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East within the next three months.

“We’re building an AI-native travel experience that brings together planning, booking, and on-trip support into one seamless interface,” said Ujjwal Garg, Co-founder of Passprt Trips. “This funding will help us accelerate our roadmap and deepen our footprint in high-growth markets.”

Lead investor Aroa Venture Partners had launched a new fund in February last year with a target corpus of ₹400 crore (~$50 million). The firm has previously backed some of India’s top startups including Unacademy, Urban Company, CRED, Pine Labs, Magicpin, MPL, and Cars24.

With this round, Passprt Trips joins a new wave of AI-first travel companies aiming to unify and personalize the highly fragmented travel experience for modern-day explorers.
