Yatra Online Names Siddhartha Gupta New CEO as Co-founder Dhruv Shringi Transitions to Executive Chairman

Yatra Online has announced a significant leadership transition, with co-founder Dhruv Shringi stepping down as Chief Executive Officer to take on the role of Executive Chairman, effective November 25.

The online travel company has appointed Siddhartha Gupta as its new CEO. Shringi, who led Yatra since its inception, will now focus on the company’s long-term direction, expansion plans, and governance in his new capacity, working closely with the board and senior leadership.

New Leadership and Experience

Siddhartha Gupta brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise technology and B2B SaaS (Software as a Service) to his new role, including stints at major companies like SAP and HP, as well as various SaaS ventures. As CEO, he will be responsible for overseeing business operations, growth initiatives, and the company’s travel services portfolio.

Gupta expressed his focus would be on “accelerating growth, enhancing our technology and service portfolio, and delivering greater value to our customers,” according to the company’s filing.

Company Performance Highlights

The leadership change comes as Yatra reports strong financial and operational growth.

  • In the past 12 months, the company successfully added 148 new corporate clients with a potential annual business exceeding Rs 700 crore.

  • For the quarter ending September 2025 (Q2 FY26), Yatra’s revenue from operations jumped 48% to Rs 350.8 crore.

  • The company also reported a quarterly profit of Rs 14.27 crore.

  • For the first half of the fiscal year (H1 FY26), revenue reached Rs 560.6 crore, and the total profit rose to approximately Rs 30.27 crore.
