Swiggy Unveils SNACC: A New App for 15-Minute Food Delivery

Foodtech giant Swiggy has officially launched SNACC, a dedicated app aimed at delivering food within 15 minutes. This initiative marks Swiggy’s latest foray into the competitive quick food delivery segment.

The SNACC app currently offers a curated selection of items such as breakfast, coffee, baked goods, cold beverages, eggs, and protein. These products are sourced from third-party food providers and well-known brands like Blue Tokai and The Whole Truth.

This announcement follows Swiggy’s October 2023 launch of Bolt, a 10-minute food delivery service introduced in select cities. Bolt focuses on quick-to-prepare meals from popular restaurants and quick-service restaurants (QSRs) located within a 2-kilometer radius of the customer.

Swiggy’s strategy with SNACC mirrors moves by competitors like Zepto and Zomato-owned Blinkit. Zepto is reportedly gearing up to launch Zepto Cafe, an app focused on 10-minute food deliveries. Similarly, Blinkit recently introduced Bistro, a standalone app for instant food delivery.

The quick food delivery market is experiencing a surge in competition. Established players like Swiggy and Zomato are vying for dominance while emerging startups such as SwishMagicpin, and Zing are carving out their niche in this rapidly evolving space.

As the instant delivery trend gains traction, Swiggy’s SNACC app seeks to solidify its position as a leader in the sector, combining speed, convenience, and a diverse range of offerings for customers on the go.
