StampMyVisa Acquires Teleport to Strengthen Digital-First Visa Processing Across India & Southeast Asia

StampMyVisa (SMV), a leading B2B visa platform, has acquired Teleport, a new-age travel tech startup with a strong presence in South India, backed by top Indian startup founders including Kunal Shah (CRED), Vidit Aatrey (Meesho), and Phanindra Sama (RedBus).

This strategic acquisition is set to combine Teleport’s consumer-focused, digital-first travel product with SMV’s operational scale and B2B expertise, enabling faster, simpler visa services across India and Southeast Asia.

Founded in 2023 by Pravin Wadekar, Rahul Borude, and Amey Anekar, StampMyVisa helps travel agents, corporates, OTAs, and MICE companies process visas for over 60 countries with a 99.5% success rate. In just six months, SMV has processed 50,000+ visas and achieved a 4X revenue growth in eight months. The company is also in advanced talks to raise $3 million to power its next growth phase.

“This moment feels like coming full circle — from being part of CRED’s early team to now acquiring a startup backed by Kunal Shah… With this acquisition, we are bringing together the best of both worlds,” said Rahul Borude, Co-founder & CEO of StampMyVisa.

Launched in 2022 by Nikita Dresswala, Teleport specializes in streamlining travel visa applications, offering support from submission to approval. The Mumbai-based company has raised $507K in seed funding from AngelList and others.

StampMyVisa has also built an API infrastructure — Konveyor — enabling travel platforms, banks, OTAs, and fintechs to integrate visa services directly into their platforms.
