OneAssist Consumer Solutions, a leading platform for consumer assistance and protection, has named Abhishek Maheshwari as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective September 1, 2025. He has also joined the company’s Board of Directors.
In his new role, Maheshwari will focus on shaping OneAssist’s business strategy, category diversification, and geographic expansion, while scaling AI-driven solutions to enhance customer service and operational automation.
Founded in 2011 by Gagan Maini and Subrat Pani, OneAssist serves nearly 20 million customers across 19,000 pin codes, supported by partnerships with more than 3,000 businesses and a nationwide network of 1,000 service providers. The company’s B2B2C model offers protection and assistance for smart devices, appliances, financial products, and lifestyle services.
Maheshwari brings over 20 years of leadership experience across technology, consumer, and education sectors. Most recently, he was CEO of Aakash Educational Services, where he steered digital transformation and growth. Prior to that, he served as Country Head at The Walt Disney Company India, scaling multiple verticals, and at Zomato, where he played a pivotal role in expanding Hyperpure and driving profitability in food delivery.

The co-founders will remain actively involved, particularly in areas of strategic growth and M&A initiatives.
Financially, OneAssist reported ₹623 crore in operating revenue for FY25, marking a 22% increase from ₹509 crore in FY24. Its net loss narrowed to ₹11 crore in FY25, a 56% improvement compared to the previous fiscal year.
