In a strategic move aimed at fortifying its leadership bench, Honasa Consumer Ltd, the parent company of Mamaearth, has appointed Yatish Bhargava as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO), effective immediately.
The role had remained vacant since February 28 after the exit of Zairus Master, who stepped down citing personal reasons. Bhargava will also be designated as a Senior Management Personnel, as per the company’s regulatory filing.
With over 17 years of cross-functional experience across P&L management, e-commerce, modern trade, and general trade, Bhargava is no stranger to fast-paced consumer brands. He has held senior leadership positions at Flipkart and Hindustan Unilever Ltd, bringing a potent mix of digital and traditional retail expertise to Honasa’s table.
This leadership refresh doesn’t stop here. In recent weeks, Karan Bajwa, previously SVP – HR, was elevated to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), while Avinash Dhagat, earlier SVP – Supply Chain, now steps into the role of Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO). The reshuffle signals Honasa’s commitment to strengthening its internal leadership as it prepares for its next phase of growth.
The announcements follow Honasa’s Q4 FY25 results, where the company reported a 13% YoY growth in revenue—from ₹471 crore in Q4 FY24 to ₹533 crore this year. Though profit after tax saw a slight dip to ₹25 crore (from ₹30 crore last year), the company continues to perform steadily amid a competitive FMCG landscape.
Founded with a mission to deliver toxin-free personal care, Mamaearth has evolved into one of India’s most prominent D2C brands. And with Bhargava now at the business helm, the company is poised to deepen its omnichannel footprint and sharpen its strategic execution.
As the consumer landscape rapidly evolves, Honasa’s bet on experienced leadership could be the edge it needs to stay ahead of the curve.
