India, July 11, 2025 — In a strategic move to strengthen its core operations and create new revenue streams, Awfis, India’s largest co-working solutions provider, has officially stepped into the office furniture manufacturing and sales business. This diversification marks a bold step beyond shared workspaces and into the world of B2B furnishing and infrastructure solutions.
The decision follows recent shareholder approval to amend the company’s Memorandum of Association, enabling Awfis to manufacture, import, export, and sell a wide range of office and home furnishing products.
By vertically integrating its operations, Awfis aims to reduce the high costs of furnishing its coworking centres, improve turnaround times, and unlock higher margins. The company also plans to extend these solutions to external clients—essentially becoming a full-suite office interiors provider.
This move is not just limited to chairs and desks. Awfis now has the flexibility to design, build, and sell everything from curtains, blinds, and carpets to glass fittings and upholstery. The expanded scope allows it to operate as a manufacturer, wholesaler, retailer, and service provider, tapping into a booming workspace decor and interiors market.
The diversification comes on the heels of strong financial performance. In Q4 FY25, Awfis reported a 47% YoY jump in revenue to ₹340 crore, with net profits surging 8x to ₹11.2 crore. For FY25, revenue stood at ₹1,208 crore with a profit of ₹68 crore. As of today, the company’s stock is trading at ₹644.20, with a market cap of ₹4,593 crore (~$540 million).
Awfis’ latest move signals a larger vision—to become a holistic workspace experience provider, from flexible desks to customized décor and furnishings.
