Assembly, a global omnichannel media agency under the Stagwell network, has appointed Alap Ghosh as its first-ever CEO for India. Based in Mumbai, Ghosh will assume his role on August 1, 2025, and report to Matt Adams, Global COO of Assembly.
Ghosh brings over 25 years of experience in building and leading digital-first businesses. He joins Assembly from Google India, where he served as Head of Data and Technology Partnerships, overseeing marketing technology and digital innovation for enterprise clients. His prior roles include leadership positions at Jellyfish and founding a data consultancy, with expertise spanning advertising and marketing tech, programmatic platforms, and digital transformation.
As CEO, Ghosh will lead the integration of Assembly’s media operations in Mumbai and Bangalore, focusing on building a unified offering across media, creative, technology, and commerce. His mandate includes accelerating regional growth and creating connected omnichannel experiences for clients.
