Zomint Raises ₹36 Crore Seed Funding from Lightspeed and Prime Venture Partners

Wealth management startup Zomint has raised ₹36 crore ($3.75 million) in a seed funding round from Lightspeed and Prime Venture Partners. The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its wealth and investment teams, strengthen its technology platform and build its investor education ecosystem.

Building Wealth Management for Families

Founded in September 2025 by Aman Mittal and Shavir Bansal, Zomint provides wealth management services to working professionals and families.

Investors can begin their engagement with Zomint through a monthly SIP of ₹25,000 or a lump-sum investment of ₹5 lakh.

The company assigns each family a personal wealth expert who tracks investments and financial goals. These experts are supported by investment research and AI-enabled tools that consolidate portfolio information, previous conversations and research to identify areas requiring attention and track agreed actions.

Focus on Technology and Investment Teams

Zomint will deploy the latest funding towards expanding its wealth and investment teams, strengthening its technology platform and developing its investor education ecosystem.

The startup aims to combine human-led wealth management with technology and investment research to provide a more structured approach to managing clients’ portfolios and financial goals.

Early Client Traction

According to the company, Zomint has retained 97% of its clients since launch, despite market volatility.

The startup also said that nearly one in three clients made additional investments through the platform within three months of their initial engagement.

Its relationship managers currently serve more than 250 families each, with support from investment specialists and AI-enabled tools.

Organic Customer Acquisition

Zomint has acquired its customers entirely through organic content, leveraging the founders’ financial content platform Bekifaayati.

The platform has more than 50 lakh subscribers, providing Zomint with an existing audience for financial education and customer engagement.

The startup plans to build on this content-led approach while expanding its wealth management operations and investor education ecosystem.

Scaling Wealth Management

With its seed funding from Lightspeed and Prime Venture Partners, Zomint is now focused on scaling its wealth management and investment teams while continuing to develop the technology infrastructure supporting its advisors.

The company is positioning its model around a combination of personal wealth experts, investment research and AI-enabled tools to support working professionals and families in managing their investments and financial goals.
