Mumbai, October 1, 2026: Mumbai-based AI search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) company Unveilr AI, founded by Sanditya Srivastava, has raised ₹16.7 crore in pre-seed funding from Aviral Bhatnagar’s AJVC. The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its engineering capabilities and expand its sales team as it scales across India, the UAE and the United States.
Founded in February 2026, Unveilr AI helps B2B and consumer brands generate qualified leads through traditional search engines as well as AI-powered search platforms, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google’s AI Overviews.
The funding comes as consumers and business buyers increasingly use AI platforms to research products and services before approaching a company. Unlike traditional search results, AI-generated responses often recommend only a limited number of businesses, making visibility within these answers increasingly important for brands seeking new customers.
Unveilr AI combines Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to help businesses improve their visibility across both conventional and AI-powered search.
The company’s proprietary AI agents monitor how brands appear across AI search engines, identify buyer queries where competitors are being recommended, and analyse the sources used by AI platforms to generate their responses. Unveilr’s SEO and AEO specialists then work on content, technical improvements and digital authority to improve a brand’s chances of being surfaced in relevant AI-generated answers.

According to the company, its approach is focused not only on search rankings and visibility but also on the leads generated through those channels. Unveilr said customers typically begin seeing results within the first month.
For an Indian B2B legal-services platform, Unveilr reported that it increased AI-sourced traffic by approximately 4.7 times and leads by 5 times, alongside an approximately 80% increase in ChatGPT citations. For a D2C brand, the company said organic search currently contributes approximately 27% of total revenue, with most of the remaining revenue coming from performance marketing.
“A buyer today asks ChatGPT which lawyer, clinic or software to choose and gets two or three names back. If a brand isn’t one of them, it has lost that lead before its website ever loads,” said Sanditya Srivastava, Founder and CEO, Unveilr AI.
“Referrals and paid campaigns bring in customers, but they don’t compound. Organic visibility does: every piece of content and every citation keeps generating leads long after it goes live. That’s why we measure our work by the leads our customers receive, not just by rankings,” Srivastava added.
The founder also expects AI-powered search to play a larger role in how consumers and businesses discover and evaluate companies. According to Srivastava, AI agents could increasingly research, compare and eventually make purchases on behalf of users, making inclusion in AI-generated recommendations an important consideration for brands.
With the new funding, Unveilr AI plans to expand its engineering team and enhance the capabilities of its AI agents. It will also invest in growing its sales team to reach more businesses across India, the UAE and the US.
The company has also received industry recognition, including being named Company of the Year in AI Search by siliconindia, being featured among Inc42’s ‘30 Startups To Watch’, and appearing in The Ken’s coverage of the AI-search ecosystem.
