True Diamond Raises ₹26 Cr to Sparkle Brighter, Eyes Offline Growth with Pre-Series A Round

Mumbai, June 5, 2025 –In a glittering vote of confidence for the lab-grown diamond space, Mumbai-based True Diamond has raised ₹26 crore ($3 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by India Quotient. Existing backers — Titan Capital, Winners Fund, and Huddle Ventures — also doubled down on their support.

This round follows a $1 million seed fundraise that saw participation from a diverse set of investors, including Zeropearl Ventures, Ashutosh Valani, Priyank Shah, Aashka Goradia Goble, Mamaearth’s Ghazal Alagh, Abhishek Goyal, and Anmol Jain — reflecting strong investor interest in accessible luxury and sustainable innovation.

True Diamond, co-founded in 2024 by Darayus Mehta and Parin Shah, is reimagining what fine jewelry looks and feels like for modern Indian consumers. Their mission? To blend sustainability, design innovation, and affordability into an aspirational lifestyle offering.

“We believe luxury doesn’t have to come at the cost of the planet — or your pocket,” said co-founder Darayus Mehta. “True Diamond is here to make high-design, lab-grown diamond jewelry more accessible to a wider audience — both online and offline.”

The fresh funds will fuel the brand’s omnichannel ambitions, with an emphasis on offline expansion. The company currently has retail outlets in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Noida, and plans to scale to more metros over the next 12–18 months.

With a catalog of 5,000+ designs, custom jewelry offerings, and curated men’s collections, True Diamond has already carved a niche in the lab-grown space — boasting a 1.7x customer repeat rate and industry-first designs like 160-facet Portuguese diamonds and black diamond jewelry.

What sets True Diamond apart?

  • A strong focus on material and design innovation

  • Disruptive product launches for fashion-forward consumers

  • A hybrid retail model blending digital discovery with tactile in-store experiences
