Troovy raises Rs 20 crore in a pre-series fundraise led by Fireside Ventures

Bengaluru, 7th May     2025: Troovy, a rapidly growing brand of nutritious snacks for kids, has raised Rs 20 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures. The round also witnessed investment from Sharrp Ventures, Spring Marketing Capital, and Veltis Capital.

Spurred by their son Vihaan’s demand for healthier packaged food, the founders, Aditya Mukherjee and Mansi Baranwal, who are IIM Bangalore and Bain alums, began their journey of curating a healthy snacks brand kids love, alongside their son.

Troovy’s product range offers healthy snacks, including high-protein chips and puffs, protein instant pasta, protein vermicelli, immunity-boosting sauces and spreads, and multi-millet protein milk mixes, all of which are made with all-natural, wholesome ingredients. Troovy’s story started a year ago with India’s first chemical-free, nutrition-packed ketchup—a creation that took over a year, 42 failed recipes, and six months of production trials to perfect. The brand’s range of high-protein snacks is now the latest rage among parents.

Mansi ensures the quality of the product by crafting highly nutritious, clean-label recipes. Aditya specializes in go-to-market and growth across channels. Vihaan and his friends ensure all Troovy products taste fantastic and are kid-approved.

The co-founders, Aditya and Mansi, explained the company’s mission: “Nutrition deficiency in kids is increasing with the declining nutritional value of our soil, vegetables, and grains. Troovy aims to replace junk and chemicals in packaged food with clean nutrition, powered by the goodness of veggies, dals, millets, and nuts.” “We add no maida, refined sugar, palm oil, or chemical preservatives & additives in our food products. And still, everything tastes fantastic! Too good to be true, right?”, Vihaan added.

The brand crafts its exceptional products using traditional methods. Dals, makhanas, green peas, and millets act as protein sources. Instead of artificial additives, Troovy products utilize natural ingredients, including soy flour for thickening and natural vinegar for preservation. Instead of harmful chemical preservatives, they opt for natural alternatives such as rosemary extract.
