Refold AI, an enterprise AI startup focused on automating API integrations, has raised $6.5 million in a seed funding round co-led by Eniac Ventures and Tidal Ventures.
The funding will be used to expand the engineering team, enhance product integrations, and support its growing enterprise customer base, the company said.
Founded in 2023 by Jugal Anchalia and Abhishek Kumar, Refold AI emerged from the duo’s earlier venture JustDoc, which was acquired by Netmeds in 2018. The startup aims to replace traditional middleware and manual coding with AI agents capable of learning system behavior, writing and maintaining integration code, and adapting to software changes.
Refold AI targets the $350 billion global spend on manual integrations and consulting, offering an AI-driven platform for workflows such as ERP-to-CRM syncing, finance automation, and supply chain operations.
“Enterprise systems are often heavily customized. Even if two companies use the same ERP platform, their configurations and data structures can differ significantly. This means each integration must be built separately, even when the underlying ERP software is the same,” said Jugal Anchalia, CEO and co-founder.
Currently serving 30+ enterprise customers and 1,500+ active users, Refold AI processes over 30 million API calls per month. The company plans to deepen its integration catalogue and enable seamless, low-friction deployments for enterprises modernising their AI infrastructure.
