Pronto Secures $25M Series B to Scale 10-Minute Home Service Model

Pronto, the rapid-growth home services startup, has successfully closed a $25 million (approx. ₹228.9 crore) Series B funding round. The investment was led by Epiq Capital, with continued support from existing backers Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst, and Bain Capital Ventures.

This latest injection of capital follows just six months after the company’s $11 million Series A, signaling aggressive investor confidence in the “quick-commerce” approach to domestic help.

Expansion Strategy and Operations

The startup, founded in 2025 by Anjali Sardana, intends to utilize the funds over the next 12 to 18 months to scale its workforce and deepen operations within current hubs including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. The capital will specifically target the hiring and training of professionals to support its growing service categories, such as laundry assistance, kitchen cleaning, and routine chores.

Pronto recently signaled its long-term growth intentions by relocating its headquarters to Bengaluru, though it maintains its customer support infrastructure in Gurugram.

Explosive Growth Metrics

Pronto has carved out a niche by offering 10-minute on-demand arrivals for tasks like sweeping, mopping, and utensil washing. The company’s trajectory highlights a significant shift in urban consumer behavior:

  • Daily Bookings: Scaled from approximately 1,000 to over 18,000 in just seven months.

  • Weekly Growth: Currently maintaining a growth rate of over 20% week-on-week.

  • Workforce: Now manages a network of nearly 3,000 background-verified professionals supported by a core team of 60 employees.

The Competitive Landscape

While Pronto’s growth is rapid, it faces stiff competition in the high-frequency “instant” home services sector. The market is currently a three-way battle between specialized startups and established giants.

Competitor Snabbit recently secured $30 million in Series C funding and recorded over 8 lakh bookings in February alone. Meanwhile, Urban Company reported that its “Insta Help” vertical surpassed 50,000 daily bookings within its first year of launch. By focusing on ultra-fast response times for routine chores, Pronto aims to consolidate its position in the daily-needs segment of the urban household market.
