Posha Raises $8 Million in Series A Funding to Revolutionize Home Cooking with AI-Powered Kitchen Robot.

In a significant step towards transforming home cooking, Posha, a kitchen robotics company, has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round led by Accel. The round also saw participation from existing investors, including Xeed Ventures and WaterBridge Ventures, along with notable angel investors such as Flipkart cofounder Binny Bansal.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Posha’s extensive recipe database and enhance the user experience of its kitchen robot, further solidifying its mission to bring the future of cooking into homes worldwide.

Posha, which was co-founded in 2016 by Raghav Gupta and Rohin Malhotra, develops a countertop robot designed to automate cooking. Initially known as Nymble, the company has made significant strides in bringing a high-tech solution to the kitchen. The company’s flagship product is a kitchen robot that combines artificial intelligence, computer vision, and robotics to prepare meals with precision.

This innovative kitchen assistant can autonomously add ingredients, control heat levels, and adjust seasoning—making it, in essence, a “private chef” for every home. The robot’s advanced AI is capable of identifying ingredients, following recipes, and making real-time adjustments based on cooking needs. The goal is to simplify the cooking process, particularly for those who lack experience or time to cook from scratch.

With a wide variety of recipes across multiple cuisines, Posha’s robot offers customization, allowing users to tailor dishes to their preferences. The company’s device can cook over 1,000 recipes, covering more than 10 global cuisines, and is priced at $1,500 (around Rs 2 lakh). Posha is also introducing a subscription model for personalized recipe access, making meal prep even more convenient.

Market research highlights a booming demand for smart kitchen appliances, with the Indian market alone expected to reach $19.31 billion by 2030. Posha is poised to capitalize on this growth, aiming to make home-cooked meals easier, healthier, and more accessible for everyone.

In a market increasingly filled with innovative kitchen solutions, Posha stands out alongside competitors like Evochef, Mukunda Foods, and Beyond Appliances. However, with its unique combination of AI and robotics, Posha is not just creating a new kitchen tool—it’s creating a whole new way to approach cooking.

The future of home cooking is here, and Posha is leading the charge.
