Oncare Raises ₹27 Crore in Series A to Expand Affordable Cancer Care Network

Cancer Care startup Oncare has secured ₹27 crore (around $4 million) in a Series A funding round led by Sky Impact Capital. The round also saw participation from Huddle Ventures, Lotus Herbal Group, SteerX, and Tremis Capital.

The company had earlier raised $1 million in its seed round, led by Huddle Ventures and other investors.

Founded in 2023 by Amar Sneh and Deepak Kumar, Oncare runs a distributed oncology care platform that focuses on making cancer treatment more affordable and standardised. The startup integrates medical, surgical, and radiation oncology services within accredited hospitals, operating through a capital-efficient model.

Currently, Oncare operates four centres across Delhi NCR. In just three years since its launch, the company has built a multi-centre oncology platform and is now preparing for broader expansion.

The fresh capital will be used to enter new metro cities as well as tier-II and tier-III markets. Oncare also plans to invest in strengthening its technology infrastructure to streamline clinical operations, improve care coordination, and enhance the overall patient experience.

Investor interest in the oncology space has been rising in recent years. Recently, 4baseCare raised ₹90 crore in a funding round led by Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi. Last year, Everhope Oncology secured $10 million in seed funding, while MOC Cancer Care & Research Centre raised $18 million in a round led by Elevation Capital. Other startups that have attracted funding in this segment include ErlySign, Oncare, and OneCell Diagnostics.

With its latest round of funding, Oncare aims to expand its footprint and strengthen access to quality cancer treatment across India.
