NPrep Raises $1.5 Million Seed Funding Led by Lumikai to Expand AI-Powered Skilling Platform for Nurses

Jodhpur-based skilling startup NPrep has raised $1.5 million in a seed funding round led by Lumikai. The round also saw participation from existing investor All In Capital, along with Velo Partners, DSP Group Family Office, and angel investor Viren Shetty.

The startup had earlier raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed funding round led by All In Capital. That round also included participation from IIMA Ventures, Chegg founder Aayush Phumbhra, along with several family offices and angel investors.

Expanding AI-Powered Learning for Nursing Students

According to the company, the fresh funding will be used to strengthen its AI-powered learning platform, expand exam-focused content, and reach a larger number of nursing candidates across India who are preparing for government and international healthcare roles.

Founded in 2024 by Prince Kaushik, Utkarsh Paliwal, and Gourav Khurana, NPrep aims to support nursing students and professionals, especially those from Tier II and Tier III cities, by offering a dedicated skilling and placement platform tailored to their needs.

Addressing the Gap in Nursing Education

The startup focuses on solving gaps in traditional nursing education by providing more than 1,400 hours of exam-aligned original video content along with personalised study plans.

Its platform includes an AI-powered mentor, curated questions based on historical exam data, and individual performance tracking. These features are designed to help candidates improve their exam performance and secure opportunities in government healthcare jobs as well as global nursing roles.

Rapid Adoption Among Nursing Candidates

Within just 10 months of launch, NPrep claims that over 1,00,000 nurses across India are already using its platform. Users have collectively consumed more than 6 million minutes of video content and answered over 31 million practice questions.

The platform also converts its 1,400 hours of content into personalised adaptive learning plans, supported by AI-driven guidance to help students prepare more effectively.

With the latest funding, NPrep plans to scale its reach and continue building AI-driven tools aimed at improving access to quality nursing education and career opportunities across India.
