MyDesignation Raises ₹40 Crore in Series A Round Led by RPSG Capital Ventures

Kerala-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion brand MyDesignation has secured ₹40 crore in a Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures. The round also saw participation from existing investors Veltis Capital, Multiply Ventures, and Dominor Investments.

The development comes months after the startup raised $1.25 million in seed funding in February 2025, marking a significant step up in its growth journey.

Founded in 2020 by Swaroop Krishnan and Gopika B Raj, MyDesignation has built a design-led, community-driven fashion and lifestyle brand that blends creativity with operational discipline. The company focuses on offering culturally inspired and stylish casual wear for both men and women, with nearly 90% of its designs being unique and non-repetitive.

According to the company, the fresh capital will be used to expand its offline retail footprint through company-owned stores, strengthen its senior leadership team, and introduce new product categories as it scales operations.

While MyDesignation follows a digital-first approach, it has been steadily building an offline presence across key cities including Bengaluru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Calicut. Over time, the brand claims to have served more than 1 million customers across India, supported by strong repeat purchase rates.

Since its inception, the company says it has recorded approximately 100% year-on-year revenue growth, reflecting rising demand for differentiated, community-driven fashion labels. As part of its next growth phase, MyDesignation plans to open eight new stores over the next year in markets such as Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. It also aims to bolster leadership across finance, supply chain, merchandising, and marketing functions.

With fresh capital in hand and an expanding omnichannel strategy, MyDesignation is positioning itself to strengthen its footprint in India’s competitive D2C fashion landscape.
