MedySeva Raises ₹4 Crore from Unicorn India Ventures to Expand Phygital Healthcare Across India

Bridging India’s rural healthcare divide, healthtech startup MedySeva has raised ₹4 crore in a seed funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures.

The fresh capital will help the company expand its network of phygital clinics across tier-II and tier-III towns, upgrade its telemedicine platform, strengthen digital infrastructure, and scale patient outreach through new operational and clinical teams.

Founded in 2022 by Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, MedySeva operates a hybrid healthcare model combining teleconsultation and in-person doctor services. The platform connects patients to doctors across multiple medical specialties through a central telemedicine system supported by physical clinics — enabling access to affordable and reliable healthcare in underserved areas.

In the past 12 months, MedySeva claims to have delivered over 1,00,000 consultations with a 60% repeat-patient rate, reflecting strong community adoption. The company now aims to scale to 2 lakh consultations annually within the next 18 months.

MedySeva has also partnered with medical colleges to set up satellite clinics and onboarded doctors from 10 specialties. Additionally, it is building a local care network through tie-ups with pharmacies and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.

With plans to launch 500 phygital healthcare centres in the next 18–24 months and expand into five new states, MedySeva is positioning itself as a key player in rural and semi-urban primary healthcare delivery.

The startup competes with leading telemedicine and primary healthcare platforms such as Practo, MediBuddy, Clinikk, HealthPlix, CureBay, and eSanjeevani, focusing on improving last-mile healthcare access through digital innovation.
