Lumov Raises $1.2 Million to Scale Orthopedic Recovery Products in India

Bengaluru, India — Lumov, an innovative orthopedic recovery product startup, has successfully closed a $1.2 million (Rs 10 crore) seed funding round to address the fragmented musculoskeletal care market in India. The funding was led by Incubate Fund Asia, with significant participation from prominent investors including QRG Investments & Holdings (Havells Family Office), IIMA Ventures, and SIDBI.

Founded by Saumaric Dangwal and Ankit Gupta, Lumov designs and manufactures clinically validated orthopedic recovery and rehabilitation products used for post-surgical care, pain management, and long-term mobility support. The company currently collaborates with leading hospital chains such as Manipal, Apollo, Sakra, and AIG to ensure its products are tailored for Indian patients.

The fresh capital will be strategically deployed to expand Lumov’s operations and sales presence across key metros, specifically targeting Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. A core focus of the investment is to deepen surgeon partnerships and accelerate the development of new, innovative products, while simultaneously strengthening its manufacturing and sales teams. Lumov, currently operating with a team of 15, is poised for significant hiring across product development and operations as it seeks to close critical gaps in India’s post-surgical recovery solutions.
