Legal Tech Startup Lucio Secures $5M Funding to Transform AI-Powered Legal Workspaces

Indian legal tech startup Lucio has raised $5 million in a funding round led by DeVC, with participation from notable investors including Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi.

The fresh capital will be used to enhance Lucio’s product capabilities, strengthen its AI models, integrate with more legal databases, and expand its reach to law firms and legal professionals in new markets.

Lucio provides an AI-native workspace designed to help lawyers manage daily tasks seamlessly. From document drafting and review to legal research, translation, and compliance tracking, the platform allows legal professionals to work efficiently without switching between multiple software tools.

Currently, Lucio serves over 200 organizations and has more than 3,000 active users across nine jurisdictions. With this new funding, the startup aims to scale its operations further and solidify its position as a key player in India’s legal tech ecosystem.
