Cumin Co, a Gurugram-based kitchenware brand, has raised its first institutional funding of $1.5 million (₹13.16 Cr) in a round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Huddle Ventures.
The startup will deploy the fresh capital towards expanding enamel-based coating manufacturing in India and strengthening its supply chain, it said in a press release.
Founded in February 2025 by Niharika Joshi and Udit Lekhi, Cumin Co specializes in 100% toxin-free enamel cast iron cookware such as pots and pans, combining durability, design, and modern safety standards. Positioned as a premium brand, its products range between ₹1,999–₹7,000, catering to households with annual incomes of ₹30–35 lakh and above.
The brand follows a direct-to-consumer (D2C) model, selling through its website and Amazon, with plans to expand into quick commerce platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart.
