Jaipur-based personal finance startup Finanjo has secured Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round. The investment has been fully backed by early-stage venture fund AJVC, led by Aviral Bhatnagar.
The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the platform’s product capabilities. Finanjo plans to enhance its AI assistant “Jo,” improve its decision intelligence systems, and expand features focused on goal-based planning and credit optimisation. The startup will also invest in strengthening its integration with India’s Account Aggregator framework.
Additionally, the funds will support hiring across product, engineering, and content teams. The company also aims to scale user acquisition through partnerships and community-driven channels, while building regulatory and compliance readiness for future financial product integrations.
Founded by Prithviraj Singh Chauhan and Pankaj Singh Chauhan, Finanjo is a behaviour-first personal finance platform designed for young Indian users. The founders are also known as co-founders of the YouTube channel Backstage with Millionaires, which focuses on Indian startups and entrepreneurship.
Finanjo leverages India’s Account Aggregator infrastructure along with artificial intelligence to offer users a unified, real-time view of their savings, expenses, investments, and liabilities. Based on this data, the platform provides personalised financial insights and guidance.
Since its beta launch, the startup has onboarded over 5,000 users within weeks, with nearly 500 daily active users. It reports more than Rs 25 crore in connected savings on the platform. The company has also begun generating early revenue through referral commissions from fixed deposits and mutual funds.
Finanjo joins the growing portfolio of AJVC, which has been actively investing in early-stage startups. The fund’s portfolio includes companies such as Mindcase, Care Dale, HandyPanda, Multibagg AI, Nuyug, Mithila Foods, Jaagruk Bharat, TruFides AI, Chop Finance, Gaadi Mech, and Iztri.
With fresh backing and early traction, Finanjo is aiming to build a smarter and more accessible personal finance experience for young Indians.
