Founder-led accelerator Invention Engine has announced that four startups from its portfolio, Sonic Lamb, Cheerio AI, Desible.ai, and Magicroll, have collectively raised around $2.5 million in new funding.
The investments highlight growing interest in AI and deep-tech startups emerging from accelerator programs in India.
Sonic Lamb Raises $1 Million
Deep-tech audio startup Sonic Lamb, which previously appeared on the TV show Shark Tank India, has secured around $1 million in funding.
The company develops India-designed headphones using unique audio technology. The newly raised capital will help Sonic Lamb expand its consumer brand globally and further develop its core technology and intellectual property.
The startup also plans to explore applications of its audio technology in automotive sound systems and professional audio solutions.
Cheerio AI Secures Around $1 Million
AI-driven marketing automation platform Cheerio AI has also raised approximately $1 million.
The platform offers a no-code AI-powered customer engagement and CLTV (Customer Lifetime Value) solution, helping companies automate marketing and retention strategies.
According to the company, more than 150 enterprises across six industries currently use the platform. Cheerio AI claims it has helped its customers generate over Rs 500 crore in additional revenue through intelligent retention automation.
The new funding will be used to build multi-modal AI capabilities and enhance its product offerings.
Desible.ai Raises $250,000
Enterprise conversational AI platform Desible.ai has raised $250,000 in funding.
The platform provides AI-powered conversational infrastructure designed for revenue, compliance, and customer service workflows in sectors such as banking and financial services (BFSI).
Desible.ai aims to develop the next generation of AI voice agents that are intelligent, multilingual, and capable of delivering more natural and empathetic conversations.
Magicroll Raises $100,000
AI video editing platform Magicroll has secured $100,000 in funding.
The startup focuses on converting raw content into engaging short-form videos, while keeping the creator’s voice and storytelling style intact. Its technology emphasises contextualisation and personalisation to help creators produce content more efficiently.
The funds will be used for go-to-market initiatives and continued product development.
Invention Engine Expands Its Accelerator Program
Alongside the funding announcement, Invention Engine has also opened applications for the fourth cohort of its ‘ACE $100K’ accelerator program. Under the program, the accelerator has increased its investment ticket to $100,000 (around Rs 1 crore) per startup as patient capital. The six-month program aims to support 6–8 early-stage startups building innovations in core AI technologies.
Through this initiative, Invention Engine continues to strengthen its role in supporting AI and deep-tech founders in India’s early-stage startup ecosystem.
