Indian Walker Raises Pre-Seed Funding from Palette Wealth Management at ₹20 Crore Valuation

Delhi-based carry-first streetwear brand Indian Walker has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed funding round from Palette Wealth Management (PWM), at a post-money valuation of ₹20 crore. The round marks the brand’s first institutional funding since its inception.

Indian Walker is part of CoFounder Circle (CFC) Venture Studio, a consumer-focused venture studio founded by entrepreneur Darpan Sanghvi.

Capital to Support Inventory and Product Expansion

According to the company, the newly raised capital will primarily be deployed towards inventory, expansion of its core product categories and the addition of new SKUs to its Level Up collection.

The funding will also support the expansion of Indian Walker’s core team across marketing, social media and operations as the brand prepares for its next phase of growth.

Building a Mid-Premium Carry Brand

Founded last year by Md. Sakib, Indian Walker designs backpacks and other carry products aimed at everyday commuting. The Delhi-based brand operates in the mid-premium segment, with its core backpacks priced between ₹2,000 and ₹4,000.

Its Level Up collection, led by the Stride backpack, has sold more than 10,000 units since launch, according to the company.

The brand is positioning itself within India’s growing streetwear and contemporary fashion market, which includes players such as Bluorng, Huemn, Six5Six, Almost Gods, Gully Labs, The Souled Store and Freakins.

Expanding Across Online Marketplaces

Indian Walker currently sells through its direct-to-consumer (D2C) website. The company plans to expand its distribution network by launching on Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra in the next quarter.

It also plans to enter quick commerce and other marketplace channels, widening its reach beyond its existing D2C customer base.

The company expects its expanded distribution footprint to support customer acquisition and product availability as it scales its portfolio.

Targeting ₹100 Crore ARR

Over the next 24 months, Indian Walker is targeting ₹100 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and aims to build a customer base of more than one lakh.

The company plans to use the new capital alongside its broader expansion strategy to strengthen its product portfolio, build its team and scale its presence across India’s growing consumer and streetwear market.

Funding Activity in India’s Streetwear Segment

Indian Walker’s funding comes amid increasing investor activity in India’s contemporary fashion and D2C ecosystem.

In related funding activity, Snitch raised around ₹340 crore ($40 million) in a round led by 360 ONE Asset last year. Gully Labs raised ₹30 crore in a Series A round in January 2026, led by Saama Capital with participation from Zeropearl VC.

D2C denim brand Freakins had earlier raised $4 million from Matrix Partners India, Blume Ventures and other investors.

Against this backdrop, Indian Walker’s latest institutional round provides the brand with capital to expand its product range, strengthen its operations and build a broader omnichannel presence.
