At the core of Iom’s offering lies a proprietary platform that uses artificial intelligence to decode the human gut microbiome. By mapping vast biological networks, the startup can identify key bacteria that influence overall health and recommend precision food and prebiotic plans tailored to each individual’s microbiome. In its very first year, Iom Bioworks has served more than 500 customers, filed two patents (with two more underway), and published its findings in top-tier scientific journals. The company offers a seamless digital experience, including at-home gut profiling kits and custom wellness plans, delivered across India through its pan-India logistics system.
Co-founder and CEO Bipin Pradeep Kumar notes that their goal has always been to move beyond one-size-fits-all approaches to health. “Every body is different. We want to give people tools to understand themselves better and take action—backed by science, not guesswork.”
