Good Monk, the flagship brand of Superfoods Valley, has raised $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with continued backing from existing investors Multiply Ventures, Sharrp Ventures, and ThinKuvate. The round comes on the heels of Good Monk’s appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4, where it secured a deal from Vineeta Singh, co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics.
This latest funding builds on the $841,000 the startup had previously raised from Multiply Ventures and others. According to the company’s official statement, the fresh capital will be used to boost R&D and further product development, enabling the brand to deliver better, science-backed nutritional alternatives.
Founded in 2022 by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, Good Monk offers a diverse range of nutritional solutions, including multivitamin and probiotic mixes, fiber supplements, and over 50 targeted mixes specifically curated for children, adults, and seniors above 50. With a strong emphasis on nutritional transparency and accessibility, the company aims to simplify nutrition for Indian consumers across all age groups.
Operating primarily in the ecommerce sector, Good Monk products are available via its own website and major online marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart. The brand is also expanding its digital footprint to ensure omnichannel availability.
In addition to its commercial goals, Good Monk is focused on community impact. The company donates a portion of its sales towards mid-day meal programs and is committed to supporting underprivileged communities.
Over the past year, Good Monk has recorded an impressive 11X growth, fueled by its evidence-based products and consumer trust. The new funds are expected to accelerate this trajectory by introducing more innovations into the Indian nutrition space.
RPSG Capital Ventures, which led the round, is no stranger to the health and wellness category. The venture fund has previously invested in nutrition-forward brands like Nutrabay, Plix, and True Elements.
With this backing, Good Monk is poised to deepen its impact, both commercially and socially, as it continues its mission to make everyday nutrition simple, transparent, and accessible for all.
