Garaaz Raises ₹4.55 Cr in Seed Round to Streamline Auto Aftermarket with Tech-Driven Spare Parts Platform

In a promising move for India’s growing auto aftermarket sector, Jaipur-based startup Garaaz has secured ₹4.55 crore (approximately $530,000) in a seed funding round led by GVFL (Gujarat Venture Finance Limited). The fresh capital will help the company fuel its expansion, strengthen its R&D capabilities, and build a robust logistics and support infrastructure across the country.

Founded in 2019 by Shaleen Agarwal, Garaaz operates as a SaaS-enabled aggregator, bridging the gap between automotive workshops and spare parts suppliers. With a catalogue boasting over 8 million parts across 25 car brands, the platform has steadily emerged as a tech-first disruptor in India’s fragmented auto parts distribution ecosystem.

“We aim to solve some of the most pressing pain points in the automotive aftermarket — from product unavailability and inconsistent pricing to delivery delays,” said Agarwal. “This funding will allow us to double down on technology, expand across states, and scale up our support network for workshops.”

Garaaz’s platform offers a full suite of digital tools, including real-time inventory search, order management, workshop tracking, and analytics dashboards. These features are designed to provide clarity and efficiency to garages that often grapple with limited access to reliable spare parts and inconsistent delivery timelines.

The startup monetizes its operations through a blend of SaaS subscriptions, margins on transactions, and value-added logistics and data services, positioning itself as both a software and logistics enabler for independent garages and repair workshops.

According to the company, Garaaz has seen a 3X growth over the past two years, with sales doubling in FY24–25 compared to the previous fiscal. This momentum reflects the increasing demand for structured, tech-driven solutions in India’s massive — yet often unorganized — auto repair ecosystem.

Garaaz joins a competitive but fast-expanding space, where several players such as boodmo, SpareIt, Koovers, and Automovill are also striving to digitize the aftermarket supply chain.

As the Indian automotive industry continues to mature and vehicle ownership surges across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, Garaaz’s scalable model and tech stack could prove vital in standardizing one of the most critical — yet underserved — segments of the mobility sector.
