Fireside and V3 Ventures Lead $2.89M Funding for Plant-Based Startup Earthful

Earthful, the clean-label, plant-based nutrition brand founded by sisters Veda Gogineni and Sudha Gogineni, has successfully closed a pre-Series A funding round, securing Rs 26 crore (approximately $2.89 million). The round was spearheaded by Fireside Ventures and V3 Ventures, with Atrium Angels also participating. This capital infusion follows earlier funding of approximately $1 million raised from angel investors and family offices, a period that saw the startup gain significant visibility from its appearance on Shark Tank India. The company reported impressive business momentum, achieving over 3x growth in the last financial year, driven primarily by strong customer retention rates.

The core mission of Earthful is to offer simplified, preventive nutrition through products made using only plant-based, clean-label ingredients. The company places a specific and growing emphasis on women’s health, notably claiming to be the first Indian brand to launch a multivitamin specifically formulated for menopausal women, blending vitamins, minerals, and herbs. Its current product portfolio spans daily multivitamins across various age groups, plant protein variants, and targeted supplements for concerns like skin, hair, and sleep. This focus on purity and clear ingredient formulations has resonated strongly with consumers.

The newly raised funds will be strategically deployed to drive the company’s next phase of growth. The primary use of the capital is designated for the expansion of its women’s health product portfolio, allowing Earthful to deepen its presence in this underserved market segment. Additionally, the investment will strengthen its operational teams in both Hyderabad and Mumbai, while also financing further product development and core brand-led growth initiatives. This expansion is supported by a solid foundation: over the last two years, Earthful has built a loyal customer base of more than 2 lakh users, with repeat purchases validating their clean-label approach.
