Crion Technologies, a deep-tech startup building next-generation digital platforms in IoT, AI, AR/VR, and cloud computing, has secured ₹3.5 crore in funding from SIG Tattva, the venture capital arm of Somany Impresa Group.
The fresh capital will accelerate the growth of Clonos™, Crion’s flagship digital twin platform designed to help enterprises simulate, monitor, and predict real-time performance of industrial assets. By combining 3D digital replicas with AI-driven analytics, Clonos enables businesses to minimize downtime, optimize maintenance cycles, and improve decision-making.
Founded in 2016 by Rahul K, Karthik Pondugula, and Rathees Paneerselvam, Crion has carved its niche in digital twin technology and complementary solutions spanning AI, IoT, and AR/VR. Its portfolio also includes the Augmented Workforce initiative, which leverages immersive technologies for industrial training, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
“Our collaboration with SIG Tattva gives us not only the resources but also the industry backing to scale innovations that can reshape manufacturing, utilities, and infrastructure sectors,” said Vishnuvardhan Jayachandran, CEO of Crion Technologies.
The investment coincides with the launch of SIG Tattva’s Pilot Before Pitch (PBP) program, which brings together venture firms such as Huddle Ventures, TVS Capital, Pontaq, Alteria Capital, Arali Ventures, Forge, and Nirman Venture to support early-stage deep-tech ventures.
With this funding, Crion Technologies is well-positioned to strengthen its enterprise partnerships, accelerate product deployment, and push India’s role in the global digital twin and advanced technology ecosystem.
