Beyond the Soak: How Chandigarh’s ‘Bubble Me’ is Turning Magnesium into India’s Next Wellness Essential

In an era where “hustle culture” has made burnout a common condition, a new startup from Chandigarh is betting that the secret to recovery lies in a single, vital mineral: Magnesium. Bubble Me, a wellness brand dedicated to magnesium-first solutions, has raised ₹1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by AJVC, the early-stage venture fund founded by Aviral Bhatnagar. This investment marks a significant milestone for the brand as it seeks to mainstream magnesium as a primary tool for sleep, stress relief, and muscle recovery.

The Magnesium Gap: Why This Mineral Matters

Despite being responsible for over 300 biochemical reactions in the human body, magnesium deficiency remains a silent epidemic. Low levels are often linked to chronic insomnia, high cortisol (stress), and persistent muscle cramping.

Founded by Akshina Jindal, Bubble Me is moving beyond generic multivitamins to create a specialized ecosystem centered on this “miracle mineral.” By offering both topical (through the skin) and oral (ingested) solutions, the brand provides a holistic approach to mineral replenishment.

A Portfolio Built for Modern Lifestyles

Bubble Me’s current lineup targets the three biggest pain points of the modern urbanite: Sleep, Stress, and Stiff Muscles.

  • The Yellow Ritual: A daily nutraceutical tablet designed to bridge the dietary magnesium gap.

  • Minute Mend: A high-potency topical magnesium balm that targets localized muscle soreness.

  • Magnesium Bath Soaks: Therapeutic salts designed for transdermal absorption during relaxation.

The brand isn’t stopping at the bathroom shelf. With the new capital, Bubble Me is developing “on-the-go” formats, including a magnesium spray and a roll-on, designed for athletes and professionals who need quick recovery during the day.

Precision Science and Scaling Up

The ₹1.5 crore infusion will be strategically deployed to move Bubble Me from a boutique label to a research-backed powerhouse.

  1. Formulation Accuracy: Investing in deeper magnesium research to ensure maximum bioavailability (how much the body actually absorbs).

  2. Quality Control: Strengthening supply chains to maintain consistency as production scales.

  3. Testing: Rigorous product testing to validate the efficacy of topical vs. oral delivery methods.

The AJVC Edge: Backing the ‘Mineral First’ Thesis

The round was led by AJVC, a fund known for its high-conviction bets on early-stage “Bharat” and niche consumer stories. Bubble Me joins an eclectic and fast-growing portfolio that includes names like Multibagg AI, Mithila Foods, and TruFides AI.

“We are seeing a massive shift toward specialized wellness,” says Aviral Bhatnagar, Founder of AJVC. “Bubble Me isn’t just selling a product; they are owning a specific mineral category that has been underserved in India for far too long.”

As the Indian dietary supplement market heads toward an estimated $10 billion valuation by 2027, Bubble Me’s “magnesium-first” strategy positions it perfectly to lead a new sub-sector of targeted nutrition.
