Vaave, the Hyderabad-based alumni engagement and networking platform, has secured ₹6.6 crore in its first major external funding round, led by Aditya Vuchi (VCMint) and Raj Narayanam (RAN Ventures; founder & executive chairman, Zaggle).
Previously bootstrapped and backed by friends and select angels, Vaave will utilize the fresh funds to expand into new markets, strengthen product offerings, and consolidate its category leadership in alumni networking.
Founded by Paresh Masade, Yasaswy Peesapati, and Jaipal Reddy, Vaave operates on a subscription-based SaaS model, helping educational institutions and corporates build stronger alumni ecosystems and drive engagement.
Currently, the platform partners with 1,200+ institutions across 28 countries, including IISc, IITs, IIMs, NITs, and IIITs, while also powering 35 corporate alumni networks for firms such as Tata Steel, Deloitte, Virtusa, and Bosch.
Vaave competes with global players like Almabase, Graduway, and Hivebrite, in the growing alumni engagement SaaS market.
