NeoSapien, an emerging AI wearable startup, has raised $2 million (₹18 crore) in a seed funding round led by Merak Ventures, with participation from a roster of prominent angel investors. Notable backers include Pixxel founder Awais Ahmed, Anupam Mittal, boAt co-founder Sameer Mehta, Namita Thapar, Aprameya Radhakrishna, and several others.
This new funding follows NeoSapien’s earlier raise of $92.4K, which also saw participation from Namita Thapar and additional early supporters.
The company announced that the fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate product development, boost market visibility, and expand teams across key functions.
Founded in 2024 by Dhananjay Yadav and Aryan Yadav, NeoSapien positions itself as a next-generation AI company building the future of wearable intelligence. Its flagship device, Neo 1, is an AI-native wearable designed to convert day-to-day conversations into actionable insights—serving as a “Personal AI Assistant” or a second brain.
The always-on device features persistent memory, contextual reasoning, and proactive intelligence. It supports 100+ languages, including Kannada, Spanish, and Mandarin, enabling users to capture, process, and organize conversations and activities in real time. By blending adaptive intelligence with hardware innovation, Neo 1 aims to redefine how people interact with technology.
Beyond wearables, NeoSapien plans to build the operating system layer for all AI-powered assistants—from glasses and pendants to watches and smart rings. Its NeoCore SDK will allow businesses to build applications on top of this core intelligence layer.
Merak Ventures, led by Manu Rikhye and Sheetal Bahl, is an early-stage, sector-agnostic venture fund focused on companies solving real-world problems and driving large-scale impact across B2B and emerging tech sectors.
