Tuco Kids, a pioneering children’s personal care brand, has announced the appointment of Chanakya Gupta as its co-founder. This move signals the company’s strategic focus on scaling operations and expanding its market presence.
Gupta brings extensive leadership experience to Tuco Kids. Before joining the company, he served as the Business Head at Cult Play (formerly Fitso) and as the Group Chief Human Resource Officer at Curefit. Additionally, he spent nearly nine years at Flipkart in various leadership roles, including Vice President for Strategic Partnerships, D2C Brand Accelerator, and Private Brands.
Founded by Aishwarya Murali in 2023, Tuco Kids specializes in sustainable and natural personal care products designed for children aged 3 to 13. The brand offers an extensive range, including soaps, lotions, sunscreen, shampoo, and oils, emphasizing safe and gentle formulations.
The appointment of Gupta follows Tuco Kids’ recent $2 million seed funding round, led by Fireside Ventures and Whiteboard Capital. This financial boost is set to drive further innovation and expansion as the company strengthens its foothold in the children’s personal care sector.
Tuco Kids’ products are available on its official website and across major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, and FirstCry. The brand has also established a presence on all leading quick commerce platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for parents seeking high-quality personal care solutions for their children.
