MediBuddy Scales Indore Operations Centre to 600 Employees, Strengthening National Healthcare Delivery

MediBuddy, a digital healthcare platform serving more than 37 million lives and over 1,200 corporates, is strengthening its regional sales, operations and service delivery capabilities through its Indore centre. Established in mid-2025 with a seven-member team, the facility has expanded to approximately 600 employees and now supports functions spanning customer service, operations, concierge sales, engineering, IT and administration.

The expansion marks Indore’s growing importance within MediBuddy’s national operating network as the company scales its digital healthcare services and strengthens its 24×7 customer support capabilities.

The centre currently handles 65% of the company’s inbound customer support calls and 55% of its support emails, alongside report processing, quality checks, customer coordination and concierge services for users across India.

Indore Becomes a Key Operations and Talent Hub

MediBuddy’s Indore facility has evolved from a small initial team into a central operations centre supporting multiple business functions. Its responsibilities include managing customer interactions, coordinating healthcare services, processing reports and working with region-specific clients and consumers.

The centre also supports concierge sales and technology-related functions, making it an important part of the company’s service delivery infrastructure.

With healthcare users and partners spread across the country, the facility helps coordinate customer requirements and follow-ups across different services and locations. Its expansion also reflects MediBuddy’s efforts to build operational capacity beyond traditional metropolitan hubs.

Growth Supported by Improving Business Performance

The Indore expansion comes as MediBuddy enters its next phase of growth. The company reported its first EBITDA-positive quarter in Q4 FY26, with an annual revenue run rate exceeding ₹1,500 crore.

Online consultations grew by more than 90% year-on-year during the quarter, according to the company, reflecting rising demand for digital-first healthcare access.

MediBuddy’s integrated healthcare ecosystem includes online doctor consultations, medicine delivery, at-home diagnostics, fitness and condition management programmes, mental health support and surgery care. The platform processes more than 100,000 healthcare transactions daily and supports surgery care across 189 cities.

Its broader network comprises more than 140,000 doctors, over 11,000 hospitals and clinics, 7,700-plus diagnostic centres and 10,000 pharmacies, supporting healthcare access across multiple service categories.

Hiring Across Customer Support, Operations and Sales

Alongside its operational expansion, MediBuddy is hiring for roles across concierge sales, operations and customer support at its Indore centre. The opportunities are aimed at freshers, graduates and young professionals seeking careers in a technology-enabled healthcare environment.

Customer assistance and operations roles are open to college graduates and early-career professionals proficient in English and Hindi. Concierge sales positions are open to candidates with a fresh MBA or master’s degree, as well as applicants with up to two to three years of experience, with prior sales experience preferred.

The company describes its CareBuddy roles as customer-facing positions that involve helping users navigate key stages of their healthcare journey. Responsibilities include customer interaction, case coordination and collaboration with internal teams to support a smoother service experience.

Training and Career Development Opportunities

MediBuddy provides role-specific training covering technical knowledge, human anatomy, soft skills and sales, alongside on-the-job learning and customer support certification.

The company also offers paid training, performance-based incentives, health insurance, food benefits, paid leave, weekly offs and employee referral incentives.

For employees looking to progress into leadership and specialist positions, MediBuddy provides management programmes for first-time people managers and opportunities to move into Subject Matter Expert roles based on performance.

These initiatives are intended to help employees develop relevant skills while building careers in the digital healthcare sector.

Leadership Perspective on Indore’s Growth

Commenting on the expansion, Seema Vijay Singh, Chief People Officer at MediBuddy, said Indore has quickly become a strategic operations and talent hub for the company, supporting key functions across customer support, concierge sales, operations and technology.

She highlighted the quality and ambition of local talent, particularly young professionals seeking meaningful career opportunities closer to home. Singh added that as MediBuddy scales, Indore is expected to play an increasingly important role in its 24×7 service delivery network and in developing structured career pathways for emerging healthtech talent.

India’s Digital Health Market Continues to Expand

MediBuddy’s expansion comes amid projected growth in India’s digital healthcare industry. According to Grand View Research, the country’s digital health market is projected to increase from $14.5 billion in 2024 to $106.97 billion by 2033, representing a compound annual growth rate of 25.12% between 2025 and 2033.

The growing adoption of digital healthcare services is creating demand not only for technology platforms but also for the operational infrastructure required to manage customer interactions, coordinate care and support users across geographies.

Madhya Pradesh is also seeking to strengthen its position as an investment and employment destination through policies spanning industrial development, MSMEs, healthcare, IT and Global Capability Centres. MediBuddy’s continued expansion in Indore adds to the city’s emerging role as an operations and talent hub beyond India’s traditional metropolitan centres.
