Carrum Mobility Raises $10 Million Series B Led by Uber, Nearly Doubles Business Since January

B2B fleet management platform Carrum Mobility has raised $10 million (approximately ₹96 crore) in a Series B funding round led by Uber. The investment marks Uber’s second backing of the company, following its $7 million investment in January 2026.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Carrum Mobility’s presence across existing and new geographies, strengthen its technology platform and scale its operations, the company said in a press release.

Fleet Management for CNG and EVs

Founded in 2024 by Karan Jain, Carrum Mobility provides fleet management solutions for CNG and electric vehicles. Its technology and data-driven platform helps fleet operators manage vehicle utilisation and driver operations.

The company is focused on supporting mobility fleets as demand for organised and technology-enabled transportation services continues to grow across Indian cities.

Business Nearly Doubles

Carrum Mobility said its business has nearly doubled since Uber’s previous investment in January 2026, driven by increasing demand for premium mobility services.

As of September 2026, the company claims to operate more than 5,000 vehicles across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Kolkata.

The platform has also built a network of more than 18,000 driver partners, while its operations in Chennai are expected to go live in September 2026.

Reaches ₹400 Crore Revenue Run Rate

Carrum Mobility said it has been profitable since its first month of operations. Within around two years of starting operations, the company has reached an annualised revenue run rate of approximately ₹400 crore, according to the company.

The latest funding is expected to support the company’s next phase of geographical expansion while allowing it to further invest in its technology and operational infrastructure.

Competing in Uber-Backed Fleet Market

Carrum Mobility operates in a fleet-management and mobility segment that has also attracted significant investment from Uber.

The company competes with Everest Fleet, another Uber-backed fleet operator. Uber invested $20 million in Everest Fleet in November 2025, following a $30 million investment in September 2024.

Uber’s continued investments in fleet operators highlight its broader interest in strengthening the supply side of its mobility ecosystem through organised fleet partners.

Expanding Mobility Infrastructure

With its second investment in Carrum Mobility, Uber is backing a company that has rapidly expanded its fleet footprint and driver network across major Indian markets.

Carrum Mobility plans to use the new capital to enter additional geographies, strengthen its technology infrastructure and scale operations, as it looks to build a larger technology-enabled fleet management platform for India’s evolving mobility market.
