FreightFox Raises Rs 5 Crore in Pre-Series A Round to Expand Enterprise and Global Operations

Pune-based freight technology company FreightFox has raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by HighLeaf, with participation from Vijender Yadav, Puru Gupta and Aeravti Ventures.

The latest funding comes as FreightFox looks to strengthen its enterprise sales and distribution network and expand into international markets.

The company had previously raised Rs 2 crore in an angel round in 2020 and Rs 4.5 crore in a seed round in 2023, with the latter led by Aeravti Ventures.

FreightFox Builds AI-Powered Freight Management Platform

Founded in 2020 by Nitish Rai, Sandeep Mukhopadhyay, Vikas Singh and Dhananjaya Shetty, FreightFox provides a full-stack Transportation Management System (TMS) and control tower platform for large manufacturing enterprises.

Its AI-powered platform covers multiple stages of freight operations, including freight procurement, execution, shipment tracking, invoice settlement and sustainability reporting.

The company aims to help large businesses bring greater visibility and efficiency to their transportation and logistics operations through a single technology platform.

Platform Manages More Than 6 Million Trips

FreightFox works with several major enterprises, including AB InBev, Bridgestone, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Hero, CEAT and Raychem RPG.

According to the company, its platform has managed more than 6 million trips and facilitated over $2 billion in freight procurement.

FreightFox is competing in India’s growing freight technology market with companies such as Freight Tiger, Super Procure and Pando.

Freight-Tech Sector Continues to Attract Investors

The latest investment comes amid continued investor interest in India’s logistics and freight-tech sector, as businesses increasingly adopt digital platforms to improve transportation visibility, procurement and operational efficiency.

Other companies operating in India’s digital freight, trucking and logistics ecosystem include BlackBuck, Porter and Cogoport, which have built technology platforms across different segments of the logistics value chain.

With the latest capital, FreightFox plans to increase its enterprise reach, expand its distribution channels and take its freight management technology to international markets.
