Solinas Integrity Raises $5.5 Million in Series A1 Round to Scale Infrastructure Robotics Business

Chennai-based deeptech startup Solinas Integrity has raised $5.5 million (approximately Rs 46 crore) in a Series A1 funding round co-led by Mela Ventures and Hero Enterprise Family Office. The round also saw participation from Luthra Group, along with follow-on investments from existing backers SVL SME Fund, managed by SBI Ventures, Rainmatter Capital, and 8X Ventures Fund I.

The latest capital infusion comes as Solinas looks to strengthen its position in the infrastructure technology space and expand the deployment of robotics-led solutions for inspection and maintenance. The company plans to use the fresh funds to expand manufacturing capacity, accelerate product development, strengthen its software infrastructure, and support working capital requirements.

Solinas to Expand Manufacturing and Product Development

Founded in Chennai, Solinas Integrity develops robotic and deeptech solutions designed to address inspection and maintenance challenges across critical infrastructure. Its technology focuses on improving the efficiency and safety of infrastructure inspection while reducing the need for manual intervention in difficult or hazardous environments.

With the new funding, the company plans to increase its manufacturing capabilities to support growing demand for its robotic systems. A portion of the capital will also be directed towards product development as Solinas works to broaden its technology portfolio and improve the capabilities of its existing solutions.

The company is also investing in its software infrastructure, reflecting the increasing role of data, automation and intelligent software in modern infrastructure inspection. The investment is expected to help Solinas build a stronger technology stack while supporting the deployment and management of its robotic solutions at scale.

Existing Investors Continue to Back Solinas

The Series A1 round includes follow-on participation from several existing investors, highlighting continued investor confidence in Solinas’ technology and growth prospects. SVL SME Fund, Rainmatter Capital and 8X Ventures Fund I have backed the company again in the latest round.

The participation of new investors such as Mela Ventures, Hero Enterprise Family Office and Luthra Group further expands Solinas’ institutional investor base as the startup enters its next phase of growth.

The fresh funding is expected to provide Solinas with additional resources to scale operations, enhance its technology and meet increasing demand for robotics-based infrastructure solutions.

Deeptech Focus Gains Momentum

Solinas’ latest fundraise comes amid growing interest in India’s deeptech ecosystem, particularly in technologies addressing real-world industrial and infrastructure challenges. Robotics, automation and artificial intelligence are increasingly being deployed across sectors where traditional inspection methods can be expensive, time-consuming or operationally challenging.

By combining robotics with software-driven inspection capabilities, Solinas aims to create more scalable and technology-led approaches to infrastructure maintenance.

With the new $5.5 million funding round, the company is now positioned to accelerate manufacturing, product innovation and software development while expanding its operational capabilities in the coming years.
