CARPL.ai Raises $10 Million in Series A Funding Led by IFC to Expand AI-Powered Medical Imaging Platform

Healthtech startup CARPL.ai has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), with participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and other undisclosed investors. The funding will support the company’s efforts to strengthen its AI-powered medical imaging platform and expand its global footprint.

The latest investment follows the company’s $6 million funding round in 2023, which was backed by Stellaris Venture Partners and a group of angel investors.

According to the company, the fresh capital will be utilized to enhance its technology infrastructure, accelerate product development, and expand its global sales and delivery teams to meet the growing demand for AI-powered radiology solutions.

Founded in 2018 by Vidur Mahajan, CARPL.ai has developed an AI-powered platform that enables hospitals and radiologists to discover, deploy, manage, and monitor multiple medical imaging AI applications through a single interface.

The company’s AI marketplace currently hosts more than 300 medical imaging AI applications from over 100 global AI vendors, allowing healthcare providers to integrate and manage a wide range of diagnostic AI tools without relying on multiple standalone platforms.

CARPL.ai serves 30 hospitals and medical centers across North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Latin America, reflecting its growing international presence in the healthcare AI ecosystem.

Its customer portfolio includes prominent healthcare organizations such as the Singapore Government, RadNet, I-MED Radiology, Fleury, Medica, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in India.

As healthcare providers increasingly adopt artificial intelligence to improve diagnostic accuracy, streamline clinical workflows, and enhance patient outcomes, CARPL.ai is positioning itself as a unified AI orchestration platform for radiology departments worldwide.

With the new funding, the company aims to further expand its global reach, onboard additional AI applications and healthcare providers, and strengthen its position in the rapidly growing medical imaging AI market.
