Gurugram-based skin clinic startup KorinMi has secured ₹10 crore in a fresh funding round from Lotus Herbals’ Innovation Fund. The investment will fuel the brand’s next phase of growth as it looks to scale its physical presence across India.
The capital comes from Lotus Herbals’ $50 million venture fund, which is dedicated to backing early-stage beauty and wellness startups in the Indian market. This move aligns with the Ayurvedic beauty giant’s ongoing strategy to diversify its portfolio, following its 32% stake acquisition in skincare brand Fixderma in October 2021.
Expanding the Footprint
KorinMi plans to utilize the newly raised funds to accelerate its geographic expansion. The company will establish new advanced clinics in major metro cities, including:
-
Mumbai
-
Bengaluru
-
Hyderabad
This marks a significant scale-up from its current operations. Co-founded in 2024 by Reshbha Munjal and Jenovia Daun Jung, the startup bridges authentic Korean skin science with customized clinical treatments specifically calibrated for Indian skin.
Sights on the Indo-Korean Synergy
KorinMi operates a hybrid model that combines physical, tech-backed clinics with a direct-to-consumer (D2C) skincare product line.
“Our treatments focus on both facial and hair care, utilizing equipment and clinical products sourced directly from South Korea,” the company stated in a press release.
Since launching its flagship clinic in Gurugram in October 2024, the startup has served over 3,000 clients. To complement its typical 30–45 day treatment cycles, KorinMi introduced a dedicated D2C skincare line. While manufactured in South Korea, these products are specifically formulated to withstand Indian weather conditions and cater to local skin types.
This ₹10 crore injection marks the startup’s second major funding milestone. In May last year, KorinMi raised ₹3 crore in an angel round from Vikas Agarwal, the former CEO of Kaya Skin Clinic (UAE), alongside other private investors.
