In a significant boost to India’s growing space-tech ambitions, Bellatrix Aerospace has raised $20 million in a Pre-Series B funding round. The round was led by Cactus Partners, with participation from investors including Sunil Kant Munjal of Hero Enterprise, along with 35North Ventures, IndusBridge Ventures, Monarch Funds, and Helios Holdings LLC. Existing investors such as Inflexor Ventures, Pavestone VC, growX ventures, StartupXseed Ventures LLP, and Survam Investments Private Limited also continued their support.
At a time when the global space economy is witnessing rapid acceleration, Bellatrix Aerospace’s journey stands out for its strong execution-led approach. This isn’t a story built on promise alone—it’s rooted in progress already achieved. The company has successfully flight-qualified its core propulsion technologies, built a robust multi-million dollar order book, and reduced delivery timelines to under six months.
Operating across India and the United States, Bellatrix Aerospace has quietly positioned itself as a trusted propulsion partner for some of the most ambitious orbital missions globally. With this fresh capital infusion, the company now moves into its next phase—transitioning from being flight-proven to becoming factory-ready.
The funds will be channelled towards scaling manufacturing capabilities through high-throughput production lines, fulfilling a growing pipeline of customer programs, and building a resilient global supply chain infrastructure tailored for the satellite industry.
More than just a funding milestone, this round signals confidence in India’s ability to build globally competitive deep-tech solutions. As Bellatrix Aerospace scales its propulsion infrastructure, it is not only strengthening its own position but also contributing to the backbone of the global space ecosystem.
With momentum on its side, the company’s next chapter reflects a larger shift—where Indian startups are no longer just participating in the global space race, but actively shaping its future.
