ZeroMoblt Raises Rs 1.5 Crore Pre-Seed Round to Build AI-Driven Student Mobility Infrastructure

Student mobility startup ZeroMoblt has raised Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Sandeep Varaganti, along with Ashok Agrawal and a group of high-net-worth individuals.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate development of its AI-native technology stack, expand operations, and strengthen its long-term infrastructure roadmap, the company said in a press release.

Founded in April 2024 by Vijay Ganagam and Alfred Lazarus, ZeroMoblt is building an integrated student mobility platform that brings together logistics, safety, discovery, tracking, and subscription-based services under a single ecosystem. The startup aims to address long-standing gaps in safety, compliance, and operational efficiency within India’s student transportation landscape.

Building AI-Native Mobility for Campuses

At the core of ZeroMoblt’s platform is a decentralised intelligence layer powered by Edge AI. The company is developing capabilities for real-time safety monitoring, AI-driven route optimisation, and compliance automation to create a resilient and scalable mobility network tailored for students.

The startup plans to expand across major educational hubs in India, with a focus on cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, and Mumbai. Alongside geographic expansion, ZeroMoblt will scale campus partnerships, increase fleet capacity, and strengthen compliance infrastructure.

Growing Footprint in Hyderabad

ZeroMoblt currently operates a compliance-focused student mobility model and has partnered with over 15 institutions. The company has completed 3.4 lakh student trips across 147 pincodes in Hyderabad and is in the process of onboarding additional institutions in the city.

Its fleet network includes more than 3,000 vehicles with full compliance coverage, underscoring its focus on structured and accountable mobility operations.

As India’s education ecosystem continues to expand across urban and emerging hubs, ZeroMoblt is positioning itself at the intersection of mobility, safety, and AI-driven infrastructure — building a student-first transportation model designed for scale.
