IIT Delhi based CoreShield closes Seed Round; Gears up for multi-service defence deployments

CoreShield Technologies, an IIT Delhi based defence technology startup, has successfully closed its Seed funding round, led by ThinKuvate (Singapore). Founded in 2023 by former Indian Air Force pilot Chandan Rathore and Rana Amit —classmates from IIM Bangalore—along with Bhavya K, CoreShield is building an indigenous, AI-driven security platform to protect critical infrastructure and high-value assets across defence and mission-critical environments.

The company’s flagship platform, PULSE (Predictive Unified Law-Enforcement System), is a modular command-and-control platform that brings together responder mobility, command dashboards, digital evidence workflows, and multi-sensor data to enable coordinated, real-time security & policing operations in high-reliability defence environments.

Backed by iDEX (Ministry of Defence), CoreShield has completed successful user trials and operational practice deployments with units from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force during major national-level exercises, including Independence Day and Air Force Day 2025. These deployments have resulted in expanded requirements, repeat deployments, and broader adoption discussions across multiple formations.

Commenting on the milestone, Chandan Singh Rathore, Co-Founder & CEO, CoreShield, said:

“The strongest validation for us has come from operators in the field. Demand is now shifting from pilots to scale, and our focus is execution—delivering reliably across multiple deployments.”

Addison Appu, Managing Partner at ThinKuvate, added:

“Indigenous, integrated defence platforms are no longer optional. CoreShield has demonstrated operational readiness in real environments—a rare milestone for a young deep-tech company.”

With deployment velocity increasing and multiple rollouts progressing in parallel, CoreShield is strengthening its delivery capacity, field operations, and advanced R&D. The company is also preparing to initiate its Series A round in the coming quarters to support large-scale deployments and next-generation product development.
