BotGauge AI, a software testing startup focused on automating quality assurance workflows, has raised $2 million (approximately ₹17 crore) in a funding round led by Surface Ventures. The round also saw participation from IA Seed Ventures and Saka Ventures.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand the company’s engineering team, and support its international expansion, with a key focus on the US market.
Founded in 2024 by Pramin Pradeep, Naresh Kumar Rajendran, Vivek Nair, and Sreepad Krishnan Mavila, BotGauge AI is building a software testing platform that leverages autonomous AI agents to manage end-to-end quality assurance workflows. The platform is designed to reduce dependency on manual testing while improving software release speed and reliability.
BotGauge AI is targeting modern software teams that are under pressure to ship faster without compromising quality. By automating repetitive and time-intensive QA processes, the startup aims to help engineering teams shorten release cycles and improve overall testing efficiency.
With growing global demand for scalable and intelligent testing solutions, BotGauge AI plans to strengthen its technology stack and expand its footprint in international markets as it builds towards its next phase of growth.
