Lorazzo, a home improvement startup specializing in smart kitchen and bathroom fittings, has raised ₹5 crore in a seed funding round. The round was led by Sprout Venture Partners and First Cheque (by India Quotient), with participation from Chandigarh Angel Network and a group of prominent angel investors.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product innovation, strengthen the brand’s design and technology stack, and scale its omnichannel presence across India.
Engineering for the Indian Household
Founded in 2024 by Jatin Luthra and Saurabh Gupta, Lorazzo is carving out a niche in the high-growth home improvement sector by designing products specifically for Indian environmental conditions. While international luxury brands often struggle with India’s varying water pressure and high Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels, Lorazzo’s hardware is engineered to be both durable and high-performing in local settings.
The company’s product portfolio currently includes:
-
Smart Bidets: The flagship Lorazzo Pulse®, a non-electric, DIY-friendly attachment designed for superior hygiene.
-
Kitchen Innovation: Advanced faucets, premium stainless steel, and quartz sinks.
-
Modular Accessories: A range of hardware designed to optimize kitchen and bathroom space.
“We are building a powerful middle ground—bringing aspiration, smart functionality, and strong branding to a category that has long been split between generic mass-market goods and out-of-reach international brands,” said Kanika Agarwal, Partner at India Quotient.
Omnichannel Strategy & Growth
Lorazzo has quickly established a digital footprint, selling through its own D2C website and major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. Notably, the brand has also entered the quick-commerce space via Zepto, allowing urban consumers to upgrade their home fittings in under 10 minutes.
The new funding will help the brand move toward a more robust omnichannel presence, enabling it to capture demand in both online and offline retail channels as Indian consumers increasingly shift toward “smart home” solutions.
Market Outlook
The global edge of the home improvement market is seeing a massive shift toward “Do-It-Yourself” (DIY) solutions that don’t require professional plumbers for every small upgrade. Lorazzo’s focus on easy installation (30-minute DIY setup for bidets) positions it perfectly for the busy, urban Indian professional.
