Emergent Secures Strategic Investment from Google AI Futures Fund

AI-led software creation startup Emergent, founded by Mukund Jha (former co-founder of Dunzo), has successfully raised a strategic investment from the Google AI Futures Fund.

This funding round follows closely on the heels of Emergent’s $23 million Series A funding, which was led by Lightspeed, with participation from Together Fund and others.

The capital, sourced from Google’s AI Futures Fund launched in May 2025 to back early-stage AI companies, will be strategically deployed to accelerate hiring, product development, and global expansion. Additionally, Emergent plans to integrate Google’s advanced AI infrastructure and models to enhance agent performance, product reliability, and platform scale to meet growing global demand.

Founded in 2025 by brothers Mukund and Madhav Jha, Emergent’s platform enables users to transform ideas into production-grade applications using autonomous AI agents, effectively eliminating the requirement for developers or technical co-founders. The startup specifically targets entrepreneurs, small businesses, creators, and solo founders who need rapid software deployment without coding skills.

In a strong display of early traction, Emergent claims to have already surpassed 2.5 million global users within five months of its launch and has achieved an annual recurring revenue (ARR) run rate exceeding $25 million.
