Deepinder Goyal, Founder and CEO of Eternal and Zomato, has pledged $25 million from his personal wealth to expand his longevity research initiative, Continue Research, marking his official entry into the fast-growing life sciences and human longevity sector.
The project, which started nearly two years ago, is not a conventional startup, but a research-focused platform and early-stage funding initiative aimed at extending human life and improving healthspan. Continue Research will focus on key areas including ageing, nutrition, sleep, and mental wellness, with a goal to drive innovation in biological science and preventive healthcare.
A Mission for Conscious Evolution
Announcing the move on X (formerly Twitter), Goyal said the initiative is fully self-funded and designed to support global scientists and entrepreneurs working on cutting-edge research in human biology. He described Continue Research as a long-term scientific mission dedicated to what he calls the “conscious evolution of humanity.”
“Our goal is to understand human biology better, extend healthy life, and promote a world where people can live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives,” said Goyal.
The $25 million commitment will help accelerate research in longevity science, including projects that seek to slow, prevent, or reverse aspects of biological ageing through technology, nutrition, and health optimization.
Backing Deep Science and Preventive Wellness
Continue Research plans to provide seed funding and strategic grants to early-stage scientists, health-tech entrepreneurs, and longevity researchers working across domains like age reversal, cellular regeneration, biomarkers, metabolic health, and cognitive performance.
The initiative is independent of Zomato’s parent company, Eternal, and will operate as a separate entity under Goyal’s personal leadership.
India’s Growing Bet on Longevity Tech
Goyal’s move underscores a growing global interest in longevity technology and bio-science ventures, a market that has seen major investments from tech founders such as Jeff Bezos (Altos Labs) and Bryan Johnson (Blueprint). With Continue Research, Goyal joins the ranks of visionary leaders investing in the future of human health and life extension.
By promoting preventive wellness and health optimization, Continue Research aims to make longevity science accessible, scalable, and impactful for future generations.
