The iconic Open Air Theatre at IIT Bombay came alive as the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) hosted Origins 2025, a grand celebration commemorating 20 years of E-Summit—Asia’s largest business and entrepreneurship conclave. The event not only honoured two decades of innovation but also signified the beginning of a new era in India’s entrepreneurial journey.
Thousands of students, creators, and changemakers gathered under the stars to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship that began at IIT Bombay twenty years ago. The atmosphere was charged with energy, ambition, and nostalgia as attendees looked back at the journey that inspired countless startups and forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
The evening featured a power-packed lineup of speakers including Gaurav Taneja (Flying Beast), Shlok Srivastava (Tech Burner), and Yuvraj Bhatii (Quickbits)—three names that embody the values of perseverance and innovation.
“Entrepreneurship is about belief, discipline, and consistency,” said Gaurav Taneja, captivating the crowd with his grounded perspective. Shlok Srivastava encouraged young minds to blend creativity and execution, while Yuvraj Bhatii reflected on how Origins mirrors the first step every entrepreneur takes toward building something meaningful.
The night was electric—lights flickered, applause echoed, and ideas flowed freely through the amphitheatre. Attendees described it as a “celebration of passion and purpose,” and a testament to how far India’s startup ecosystem has come.
As the event concluded, the sentiment across the crowd was unanimous—Origins was just the beginning. With the 21st edition of E-Summit scheduled for December 11–12, anticipation continues to grow for what’s next.
