August AI Secures $3 Million to Expand Its AI-Driven Digital Health Platform

Healthtech startup August AI, which builds an AI-powered digital health companion, has raised $3 million in a funding round led by Accel and Claypond Capital, the family office of Ranjan Pai.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand the platform’s medical knowledge base, and drive customer acquisition. August AI aims to strengthen its data infrastructure, enhance model accuracy, and improve user experience across multiple regions and languages.

Founded in 2022 by Anuruddh Mishra, August AI offers an AI-based chatbot that assists users with healthcare needs—from understanding symptoms and interpreting medical reports to managing ongoing treatment. The platform integrates AI-driven health insights with a network of doctors and partner hospitals, enabling users to access trusted information anytime, anywhere. Users can also upload medical documents to receive detailed analysis and explanations, bridging the gap between patients and healthcare providers.

Currently, August AI serves over 3.5 million users across 160 countries, reflecting its rapidly growing global presence.
