Restaurant management platform Petpooja has raised ₹137 crore ($15 million) in a funding round led by Dharana Capital, with participation from Ashish Gupta (Helion Ventures) and Urban Company’s founders Abhiraj Singh Bhal, Varun Khaitan, Raghav Chandra, and Mukund Kulashekaran.
Founded in 2011 by Apurv Patel and Parthiv Patel, Petpooja has become India’s largest cloud-based restaurant management system, powering more than 100,000 restaurants across 140+ cities and handling over 7 million daily orders.
The company plans to utilize the fresh funding to accelerate AI-led automation, enhance its product portfolio, strengthen customer support, and expand internationally. Beyond restaurants, Petpooja is also looking to build digital tools for SMBs across multiple sectors, including payroll management, invoice automation, and retail point-of-sale (POS) solutions.
With its growing scale and adoption, Petpooja is positioning itself as a global SaaS player from India, transforming how restaurants and small businesses manage operations, reduce inefficiencies, and improve customer engagement.
